Are you an American buyer interested in purchasing a pony?
It's easier than you think! CLICK HERE for more information.

Many American buyers are under the impression that it is too difficult to import horses from Canada. It is much easier than you think, and really no different than, for example, someone from Pennsylvania purchasing a pony from California.

Shipping prices are comparably to what you would pay in the U.S., often being able to find a ride down for approximately $1,200 - 1,600 US. The only other expenses are a negative Coggins and health papers signed within 30 days of transporting (approx. $150 USD), plus brokerage fees and federal vet costs at the border (approx. $150 US).

Many Americans prefer to purchase from Canada, as the exchange rate between the Canadian and American dollar is favorable to Americans. A simple online currency conversion calculator can be found here: Currency Converter.

The majority of our horses and ponies are shipped down on air ride transport vans that are often used by the Canadian Olympic Team and Canadian Equestrian Team member horses. Many of the transport companies we use have live streaming video cameras and box stalls for the horses, which ensures they arrive healthy and happy at their new home!

We coordinate the shipping and paperwork, which means you get to just sit back and wait for your pony to arrive! Please feel free to contact us for more information.
